How to install the Lumii WiFi app?
  1. From an iOS device: open the app in the App Store. From an Android device: open the app in Google Play
  2. Click on Install (or search for Lumii WiFi if needed in the search bar).
  3. Once downloaded, open the app and create your account.
What’s the best place to install my GigaSpire router?

Ideally, place your router at the center of your home to get more even WiFi coverage and better performance with our services.

How to set up my GigaSpire router?
  1. Open the Lumii WiFi app.
  2. Select Sign up and create your account.
  3. Select your GigaSpire device and click Start setup.
  4. Make sure your router is working:
    • Turn it on
    • Plug the Ethernet cable into the WAN port
    • Wait about 10 minutes
    • When the green light turns on, your router is connected.
  5. Find the QR code at the bottom of your router and scan it using the app.
  6. Name your network and create a password.
  7. You can now take full control of your network.

Corus Entertainment cease distribution of 4 Disney channels in Canada.

We would like to inform you that Corus Media has decided to discontinue distribution of four (4) Disney channels in Canada. As a result, Canadian telecommunications service providers will no longer be able to offer the following channels to their subscribers as of September 1, 2025.

  • ABC Spark
  • Disney XD
  • Disney Jr.
  • La Chaîne Disney (French version)

How to install my Viiv TV receiver ?
  1. Make sure your Lumii router is configured and your Wi-Fi is active before starting. The green light means your router is working.
  2. Plug the HDMI cable into your receiver and your TV.
  3. Plug one end of the power adapter into your receiver, and the other into a power outlet. The receiver light will turn red for 5 seconds, then change to pale blue.
  4. Turn on your TV and select the right HDMI source.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi and set up your receiver and voice remote.
    Do you have a Google account? Connect it to your receiver during setup.
    Don’t have a Google account? Skip to the next step. Your TV platform and voice remote are now ready to use.
  6. Log into your Lumii Solutions account by entering your username (found in the General Info section of your billing) and password (same as your Lumii Solutions Customer Space).

How do I record a program (episode or show) ?

For more details on recordings, please refer to the Guide on the recordings.

  1. Press the Guide button on your remote control.
  2. Use the arrows on your remote control to navigate to the program you want to record.
  3. Press the OK button, then select
  4. Then choose :
  • Record this episode only
  • Record all episodes
  1. You can then :
  • Select New only or New and reruns
  • Select Extend to add time (5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes)
    Use the OK button on the remote control to change an option
  1. Press OK to confirm. A red dot will appear next to the program to confirm the recording.
Do I need Internet service with my TV service ?

Yes, you must have an active Internet service to use the television service.

Why are some channels not accessible outside of my home ?

This is due to restrictions imposed by the channel providers, who determine the broadcasting rights outside the home.

Why can't I fast forward during the replays of some channels ?

This is related to restrictions set by each channel. Some channels do not allow fast forwarding in their replay content.

What are streams ?

Streams are how we transmit content or channel signals, to your devices. One stream equals one active feed per device.

How many streams can I have ?

You have 3 streams included with your service. This allows you to watch 3 devices at one time. Each device can record as many programs as you want while watching a program on that stream. To increase this number, an additional fee of $2.50 per stream can be added to your billing, up to a limit of 7 simultaneous streams.

Can I use a remote other than the Viiv TV one for my TV service ?

Yes, you can use any Bluetooth or infrared (IR) remote. However, only the Viiv TV remote is supported by technical support.

Can I change channels using the voice command on the Viiv TV remote ?

No, currently the voice command only controls Android apps on the receiver, such as Netflix, Amazon, or YouTube. A future update will allow channel changing via voice command.

On which devices is the Viiv TV app available ?

On Apple, Android, Amazon, Web Browser and our receiver. For a complete list, please refer to the list of compatible devices. Availability coming soon for LG and Samsung.

Is the Viiv TV app available on Roku ?

No. The app is not available on Roku devices.

How do I log in to the Viiv TV app ?

On the receiver provided by Lumii Solutions, the login is automatic. On other platforms (Android, Apple, Amazon, LG, Samsung, and Web), use the same username and password as your Customer Space.

I don’t remember my Wi-Fi network name or password.
  • Your Wi-Fi network name and password may be written on the bottom or back of your router.
  • If you have a Lumii router, you can change your password using the Lumii WiFi or Lumii PRO app.
  • You can also contact technical support.
How many user profiles can I create ?

You can create up to five (5) user profiles in the Viiv TV app.

How do I change the language of the Viiv TV app ?
  • On the receiver, go to settings to change the language.
  • On a phone, tablet, or smart device, change the system or device language.
  • On the web version, change the language of your browser.
What happens when I reach my recording limit ?

When the storage limit is reached, the system automatically deletes the oldest recordings to free up space.

Remember to delete recordings you no longer need or increase your recording capacity (100 or 200 hours) to avoid automatic deletion.

Why are my recordings missing ?

Your recordings may have been automatically deleted.
When the storage limit is reached, the system deletes the oldest recordings to make room for new ones.

How long can I keep my recordings ?

There is no time limit for saved recordings. Unsaved recordings will be automatically deleted after one (1) year.

    • Symmetrical download and upload power (in other words, if you subscribe to the Fiber 700 Mbps plan, you will get 700 Mbps for downloading and 700 Mbps for uploading).
      • Unlike many telecommunications companies, which offer much lower upload speeds.
  2. More powerful Internet plans at lower prices:
    • Introduction of Fiber 700 Mbps and Fiber Giga plan for residents and businesses.

    • Advanced features such as 36-hour rewind, viewing on smart devices, voice-activated remote control, program restart, video on demand and out-of-home viewing.
Will this change of identity have an impact on Internet plan prices?
  • As with most companies, the rate of inflation, as well as the rising cost of materials and equipment, led to an increase in our rates in 2025. Plan prices have therefore been increased by $4.95, with the exception of the basic plan, which remains at $49.95. It is important to note that this rate increase is not related to IHR Télécom’s change of identity, but rather to the reality of the financial market.
  • That said, in order to continue to offer our customers excellent value for money and to meet their growing demand for Internet power, IHR Télécom (now Lumii Solutions) has decided to offset the price increase by offering our customers more speed for the new price.
    • For example: Our customers who subscribe to the Fiber 500 Mbps plan will see their invoice increase from $65 to $69.95 in July 2025, but will be automatically transferred to the new Fiber 700 Mbps plan.
What changes can I expect as an existing customer when IHR Telecom becomes Lumii Solutions? Is there anything I need to do to prepare?
  • The main change to be expected is in terms of communications. Following the launch of the new brand, the communications you will receive from our company will be in the name and colours of Lumii Solutions. These communications include a) postal letters, b) invoicing, c) newsletters, d) information emails, e) promotions and special offers and all other customer communications.
  • We also suggest that you check your junk mail for the first few months to ensure that there are no communications from Lumii Solutions. If there is, we recommend that you forward the e-mail to your inbox and add the e-mail address to your address book.
