Venise-en-Québec is going high-speed!

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, November 29, 2021 – It’s now official: residents of Venise-en-Québec will be connected to IHR Telecom’s fiber-optic network. Homes are expected to be connected on an ongoing basis over the coming months.

A joint investment of $536,600 from the governments of Quebec and Canada will enable the company to reach 855 households. For its part, IHR Telecom is investing to expand coverage to additional households and thus provide full coverage throughout the municipality.

IHR Télécom’s network is already well established in the Haut-Richelieu region and the Brome-Missisquoi RCM thanks to various provincial and federal government programs. Once the current projects and the one in Venise-en-Québec are completed, more than 18,000 households will have access to IHR Télécom’s fiber-optic network.
